Lemongrass update

A few weeks ago I decided to grow lemongrass to make lemongrass tea.

I started by putting some shop bought lemongrass and putting it in water.

Four of the stalks out of five have sprouted.

Now that the roots have become a bit more established I’ve decided it’s time to put them in soil.

I’m hoping this is the start of something good.

The leaves make amazing tea.

You’ve just inspired me to try again after failing miserably earlier in the year. 😉

I failed with mine too, but will also try again. Good luck with yours.

I’ll be close behind if it works. Not sure where to buy it though 🙂
