Kiwi Surprise

We’ve had a kiwi plant in our back yard for about five years. It’s done a lot of growing.

But finally this happened ….

It has about five blooms last year. Now it’s got plenty of these.

I’m optimistic.

Do you have any plants you are optimistic about?

There’s hope for ours too then… We have 4 plants (2m, 2fm) but never seen a flower yet after 6 years šŸ™‚

It’s a start I suppose… they are certainly tricky/fussy vines compared to most.

A friend at the allotment has one that fruits prolifically every year so I’m optimistic. The one plum tree is getting the chop this year though as its only got one fruit.
