The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.

Clay2Day 2015

It’s fantastic when you get an opportunity for an impromptu day out on a sunny day.

The Clay2Day event is an international conglomeration of ceramic artists who bring their wares to a picture perfect location hidden in the bulb fields in The Netherlands near Lisse.

There’s also an exhibition of individual works. This year’s theme was Van Gogh. So every piece had a Vincent -esque inspiration.

Sarah Michael has been organizing this event for several years and each year ceramicists from all over Europe share a broad range of work. There are sculptures, wall hangings, bowls, and intricate items including jewelry.

It’s on this weekend, tomorrow too. I’d recommend a trip.
