Spring is sprung

Ooh I think it’s my favourite season.

Spring is spring
the grass is riz
I wonder where the boidies is

The boid is on the wing
but thats absoid
The wing is on the boid

I always think of this poem at this time of year.

That cherry blossom is a give away.

And these.

Our little quail getting busy in time for Easter. The daylight hours lengthen and the birds are back on the lay.

And daffodils everywhere too. The sky is brighter the days are longer and all is well.

What’s your favourite season?

That poem brings back childhood memories of my Dad. He always said that poem to us along with the frog one (though I only seem to remember lines 1,2 and 6!)

What a wonderful bird the frog are–
When he sit, he stand almost.
When he hop, he fly almost.
He ain’t got no sense hardly.
He ain’t got no tail hardly either.
When he sit, he sit on what he ain’t got–almost.

Spring is definitely my favorite season. The flowers pop up, the trees leaf out, the fantastic birds return or migrate through. I hope we have a nice long one. Sometimes it heats up to summer temperatures too fast.

I love the little speckled eggs! The cherry blossoms and daffodils are the very essence of spring!
