Devon walk

on a recent visit to the UK West Country I was really impressed with a development that has taken place in the coastal path.

plymouth

royal william yard coast path

From a place called Devil’s point which is part of the huge natural harbour at Plymouth, there was a lot of granite and a big drop. Not really conducive for walking right along the coast.

its a long way down

watch your step

It’s picturesque but interrupt any walk along the coast.

Now there’s an impressive solution.

An amazing staircase!

Now it’s possible to walk done to the Royal William yard instead of walkng all the way around.
