The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.
Now this was a novel idea.
Last weekend in the train, when the ticket collector came round a couple sitting opposite us showed him a book instead of a ticket.
Turns out with this book there was a special arrangement to travel unlimited free on the train for the whole day.
What a lovely way to encourage reading and more environmental travel.
We asked this couple about it and had a great conversation. Then they gave us one of their books!
According to the link on the Metro website (a resource for travelled and commuters) 240,000 people travelled with their book that day.
It happens once a year. We will need to find out when the next one comes.
Have you ever noticed an unusual special offer?
