Precious Jewels

the other day when I posted an iris poking through the dirt another blogger shared an idea to post flowers that are in unusual settings.

This cute little button caught my eye. It’s location was amazing.

This is a disused former military hospital. The tiny yellow flower is on that wall in the middle of the shot. In spite of the fence, the neglect, it’s still growing.

I can see this becoming a series.

I love it when I find a flower growing and blooming against all the odds. Lovely sunny yellow flower and a great idea for a series!

LOVE it! Now what I wish you also had was a MID-SHOT – one that would make it possible to still see the flowers in the “not a garden” location. Your close and distance shots are terrific. You are so blessed with flowers in nooks and crannies!

It wS pretty hard to take. As there was water behind. But I will keep that in mind for the next one! Thanks very much.
