Chuck it out challenge

I’m a late starter. I saw this challenge part way through January. And was a bit wary as it was too late to start.

I even tackled a drawer or two.

But a friend shared it for February so I’m going to give it a shot.

Getting rid of more than 400 things in a month is a good idea.

I’m pretty sure I can try.

Plan is to write a post each week summarising the progress.

I’m feeling the decluttering urge too after spying The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying by Marie Kondo and am keen to discover if she has any new tips or habits to adopt. Good luck with your challenge!

Interesting idea. Unfortunately a lot of the stuff I need to get rid of is in the attic and it’s too cold to go up there now. I laughed out loud that she discarded her porcelain ginger grater. I couldn’t live without mine since I use it for so much ginger and garlic. Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure.

That’s very hard. I’ve pulled a few books but I’m probably holding back.

Now that would be a challenge for me … getting rid of stuff! Though I am looking to more upcycling projects this year. Good luck with your challenge 🙂
