Genius!

Just discovered something clever. While desperately seeking a savoury low calorie treat we found some amaranth rice cakes in the cupboard.

A quick slap of marmite and disaster strikes.

Stale, chewy, yeuch!

Then a clever fix.

Thirty seconds each side in the microwave.

Transformation!

Light fluffy and crunchy.

Who’d have thought it!

Mind the marmite after heating!

I’ll be checking this on other types of crackers. It makes sense. And should save me money!

Genius is right! I’ve freshened up crackers, cereal, etc. in the oven (spread them out on a tray and bake for about 5 minutes) but never once thought about the microwave!! 🙂
