The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.
Every so often there’s a curse across the room usually at a specific Facebook page.
The restaurant Iydea (pronounced idea) publishes their menu every day. Delicious seasonal food with lots of cool ingredients. And vegetarian of course.
We curse them because we live in The Netherlands and access to such delights is limited.
But at the weekend we had a special opportunity to visit.
As you can see from the photo above the chocolate fondant desert was gorgeous.
They have a clever tap water facility where you can help yourself.
The food is a counter service and if you’re too late you’ll be disappointed.
On Saturday it went like this.
We had an intensely flavourful meal. It was great. Each of us had something different.
Presentation isn’t a big aim but the portions were wonderful. A huge helping of parsnips for example.
It’s very easy to find and they have two locations each with different opening times.
