Fat free Crisps: Homemade

It’s late.

I’m peckish.
There’s no savoury snacks in the house.

What’s a girl to do.

Hit the pinterest and find a potato.

What could be simpler?

Finely sliced potato, soaked in water and then dried.

I used a salad spinner!

Then into the microwave.

Add a bit of salt to taste!

Problem solved!

How was the texture and flavor? I could imagine having fun with different spice blends on these.

I guess you need to have a potato handy – I’d have to go to the shop to buy one so then I might as well buy crisps while I’m there 😉

Ach but think of the adventure. The average persons crisp intake includes 5.5 litres of oil a year! These cheeper and no oil!
