The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.
I suspect this post may be too late. I thought I’d written about this place when we went there. However it seems I didn’t.
It’s hidden away near the sea to the east of The Hague in the seaside resort of Scheveningen.
Alone from the harbour area it’s not the sort of place you’d expect.
Unfortunately when we went in September the whole area was scheduled for redevelopment. So I’m not sure if it’s still there.
What I loved about it is the simplicity of the whole concept.
Like many Dutch eateries there is a set menu take it or leave it. They use seasonal produce to create delicious vegetarian food at bargain prices.
This lovely bee helped us to find it.
We had a three course meal for about€10.00 each. You can pay extra for more desert. We started with tasty soup and the main course looked like this.
It had wide variety of components including courgettes and beetroot and a tasty filled flat bread.
I’ll need to find out if they survived the redevelopment.
