The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.
I’m ready this time.
I think I started by joining this meme in March. It was very early in my blog commitment that’s for sure.
In that time my tree has been busy participating in the full range of tree behaviour.
She eventually made it into a full spread of leafiness for the height of summer.
I can’t wait to see what she will achieve into Autumn.
But the other day she had a visit…
…. from a man with a saw.
Fear not, dear reader,
this isn’t a ghoulish Halloween tale filled with sharp knives and woody screaming.
It’s a follow the tree meme.
The nice tree surgeon just attended to some cosmetic issues.
(And another dear fella whipped out his camera and got some pleasing shots as I was out of the country and it was breakfast time and an unexpected call)
The tree has now had a couple of bits removed to ensure she continues to live long and prosper.
Her leaves are strewn around, also lightening the load. Given the not-normal-for-November temperatures where it’s been 16-22 degrees C since mid October he full impact of late autumn has yet to be felt.
