The planet is our home; we need to be more responsible. Here's what I do.

Happy Beekeepers Patron Day!

Yes that’s right.
I’ve actually found a reason to mark the calendar.

St Valentine is the patron saint of bee keepers.
I got to thinking why.

Honey, bees, beekeepers, love.
I guess there’s connection there somewhere.

But more to the point.
Love life. Respect people and make every day count.

So if looking for something else important, fragile and in need of looking after I thought of this. Valentine is a chance to think about special things and people.

I think creatures of our planet need a look in on days like this. Many human actions to mark special days have a negative impact on the locality.

We celebrate; the innocent creature suffers.

Short term recognition results in long term consequences.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t celebrate but I hope we can consider the impact of our actions so that other creatures and their habitats are not damaged.

Enjoy your weekend!

That’s a wonderful message! There is nothing more pure and innocent than the creatures that we share our planet with, and it is our responsibility to protect them. Happy Beekeeper’s Patron Day to you! 🙂
