Not just bees but chickens

The chickens are not impressed with the recent weather. They’re all looking bedraggled and a bit fed up that its a bit cold and miserable. But the darkness is tricky for them too. We are leaving them when it’s still dark and coming home in the dark. It’s a bit grim.

I do feel sorry for you. We at the bottom of the world (New Zealand) and we are just coming out of that and into longer days. It is almost 7:45pm at the moment and I am just popping outside to shut them in for the night. 🙂
